Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 F. Generously grease and lightly flour 9 x 5 x 3" loaf pan.
  2. Prepare cranberries and nuts. Set aside.
  3. Mix flour, sugar, soda, salt and baking powder. Cut in shortening. Stir in orange juice and beaten egg until moist. Fold in berries and nuts. Spoon into prepared pan.
  4. Bake 60 minutes. Cool on rack 15 minutes.
