Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 small cans sliced mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon bell pepper
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 box Uncle Ben’s long grain and wild rice plus seasoning mix inside
- 1/2 cup white long grain rice regular
- 3 cups chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup broken pecans

Instructions
- Sauté mushrooms, bell pepper and onion in the butter for 5 minutes.
- Add pecans and cook 1 more minute.
- Put into a large casserole and add the two types of raw rice along with the seasoning mix and broth to the casserole.
- Mix well, taste and correct seasoning.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until liquid is absorbed.
