With children home for the duration of the school year and the summer, what better time to teach them about safety?

No one makes learning about electrical safety more fun than magician Scott Davis, who teams up with the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas for the “Making Accidents Disappear” program. The show — full of tricks, laughter and lessons — has been performed at schools all over the state since 2003.

“Electricity is the most important tool in our life because we depend on it in so many ways,” Davis says. “And there’s no other tool that we need to know how to behave around more than electricity.”

And now, “Making Accidents Disappear” will be making its social media debut via short videos parents can share with their children.

Keep an eye out for them on the Facebook pages of the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas (facebook.com/ElectricCooperativesofArk) and your local electrical cooperative.
