Last month, we started a new feature called “Where Is It?”
We hid a symbol — a rose for Mother’s Day — in the pages of Arkansas Living, and we asked you to find it to qualify for a prize.
Find it you did! (Even if it took you a while. Said one reader: “Took us 6 times through to find it! We’re getting old!”) More than 2,000 of you emailed and mailed in submissions!
Many readers guessed the correct page number — page 32 (in between the birds on the Mother’s Day recipes story).
Others guessed incorrectly. Nope, it wasn’t on page 10 “in the picture of the dining room on the green bottle located to the right of the fireplace.” And it wasn’t on page 18 in a photo of a musician on her “left shoulder by guitar strap.” While you didn’t qualify for the prize, you get points for creativity!
In a random drawing of correct answers, the following five people were selected as winners and will receive an Arkansas Living travel mug:
- Carolyn Y. Campbell of Alma (Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative)
- Gayle Rhodes of Booneville (Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative)
- Lea Ann Kopczewski of Mountain Home (North Arkansas Electric Cooperative)
- Thelma Toews of Bradley (Southwest Arkansas Electric Cooperative)
- Sherry Weipert of Golden, Mo. (Carroll Electric Cooperative).
This month, we’ve hidden this round flag button in honor of Flag Day! It can be any size. Careful! Don’t confuse it with other flags in the issue! As with last month, five winners will receive an Arkansas Living travel mug.
