In its 15th year, the Cane Hill Kite Festival is Family Fun at its best for a very wallet-friendly price. It is free to park and watch. Flying is $1 for kids and $2 for adults. Military (active or retired) and their families fly for free.
If you do not have a kite, there are kites for sale ( $1-$10). There are many volunteers to help you assemble and fly your kite and a Kite Hospital to get your kite flying again in case of mishap.
The 50 cent Raffle, so named because each person may only purchase one fifty cent ticket, affords you a chance to win a large nylon kite at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00.
Yummy food is for sale on site which benefits the Friends of Prairie Grove Pound.
In case the weather is less than warm, a cozy tent is provided with a large viewing wall. Speaking of weather: in case of rain or snow, the fallback date will be March 12.
