Archey Fork Park
Now in its 5th year!
Enjoy a community-wide Christmas festival on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2019.
Christmas at the Park kicks off at 4pm at Archey Fork Park behind Huddle House, with free hot chocolate, carriage rides by the Steve Landers “Cowboy Clydesdales,” old-fashioned hayrides, a 20-passenger “Polar Express,” costume contests, a bonfire at dark, and the official lighting up of the park at dark. Meet many of your favorite Christmas characters (including the Grinch, SCharlie Brown & Snoopy, and more!) as we host special guests from local non-profits including the Van Buren County K9 Unit.
Admission is FREE! Bring friends and family – costumes are encouraged! – and enjoy an exciting Saturday!
Also part of the festival (9am-4pm):
- The Bar of Western Store on the highway near the Park will host a Christmas Fair featuring home-based businesses, craft vendors, photographers & more. They will be joined by Santa and the Cowboy CDJR Fun Zone, in support of the VBC Food Bank School Pantry program.
- In conjunction with Christmas in Clinton, the artists of the Little Red River Studio Tour will host a holiday shopping event at several area studios, including live demonstrations and special promotions for unique Christmas shopping.
- The Annual Live Nativity will be held at the Van Buren County Fairgrounds nightly, featuring camels & other live animals.
