The Ozarks Sports and Outdoor Expo will be held on March 24, 2018 at the Fulton County Fairgrounds in Salem, Arkansas. In addition to the fairgrounds the Salem City Park Lake and the Fulton County Trap Range, will be utilized for the expo. Both properties join the fairgrounds. The event, sponsored by the Fulton County Fair Association and the Salem Chamber of Commerce, will feature a Fishing Derby, 3-D Archery, Trap Shooting, Seminars, NWTF Sanctioned Turkey Calling Contest and Vendors with competitions for both youth and adults. The Salem Civic Center will be the central location for the Expo and vendor booths will be in the Civic Center and on the fairgrounds. There will also be a variety of food trucks.
Seminars will be in the Hickinbotham-Miller Bldg. on the fairgrounds. The popular horticulturist who is leader of the Arkansas Master Gardener Program, Janet Carson, will be doing seminars on Spring Flowering Bulbs and Butterfly Gardens. Bo Davidson of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will conduct a seminar on Cleaning and Cooking Trout and Brad Runsick, U of A Extension Agent, will talk about Maintaining Wildlife Plots.
