Join Adrian Deckbar for a three day Painting BIG workshop. She will be teaching exciting new techniques, for beginners to advanced painters. Working on large canvases (bring your prepared canvas, 24”x 36” up to 46” x 54” and some big brushes), you will achieve a sense of dimension, creating a 3-D effect. To get your work to ‘pop’ and vibrate, you will work on complementary color grounds.
Bring your own references – photos, sketches, or paintings that you want to enlarge. Using the photorealistic techniques in which she was trained, Adrian will show you how to create depth in your work. She will help you with composition choices, cropping, sketching or gridding – choosing the best image to work from and creating a vibrant painting, not a copy of a photograph.
