January 19th, 2018 opens with “a gale of genius” of folk and bluegrass played by Arkansas natives Still on the Hill with their handcrafted instruments and authentic brand of Ozarks music praised by Sing Out! magazine. In addition to Still on the Hill’s banjo- and fiddle-driven roots, Roy Pilgrim and Aviva Steigmeyer of The Ozark Highballers open the Ozark Old Time New Time event. A showcase of Ozark singing, square-dancing with caller Steve Green, and plenty of family fun—there will be folk!
