Every year mother nature provides a surprise! Village Creek 10k/25k, January 26th, 2019 ! Mud, Sweat, and Tears! Now that your shoes are dry and ya threw away your socks… Lets do it again! Weather is always the real surprise for this race! Tough single track mixed with some wide open spaces atop the geologic anomaly known as Crowley’s Ridge. There are markings EVERYWHERE!(I promise) Especially at marker 13 and 10. Who will set the record for the LOSTEST this year? There will be a 6.5 hour time limit on the 25k. You have approximately 3hr and 15min to make it to the turn around. If you think you can hike it go ahead cuz! Ain’t seen nobody do it yet! If you are not in at the 6.5 hour mark you will be hunted down by trained Falcons(bouncers, hitmen, mechanized volunteers that will swoop in and snatch you off the trail so everyone else can go home! Seriously! I got 3 kids, a Phantom Poodle, and not to mention a gorgeous Yankee wife!
