Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground beef

3/4 cup celery, chopped

3/4 cup onion, chopped

1/2 cup green pepper, chopped

1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons barbecue sauce

2 tablespoons vinegar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon mustard

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

8-10 hamburger buns

 

Directions

In a large skillet, brown ground beef and drain. Set aside.

Sauté celery, onion and green pepper until tender. Add in tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper and beef, cooking until all ingredients are combined and hot. Serve on buns.
