Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon heapingbaking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg beaten
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- In a bowl mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the egg, buttermilk, milk, vegetable oil and vanilla. Pour egg mixture into flour mixture and stir until combined.
- Pour 1/2 to 3/4 cup portions of batter on to hot skillet. Cook until lightly browned on both sides
- Serve immediately with butter and syrup.
