Ingredients
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded, 8 oz.
- 1 cup pitted dates chopped
- 1/4 lb. butter softened
- 1 tablespoon brandy
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds toasted
Servings: cheese ball
Instructions
- In medium bowl, beat together all ingredients except almonds until well blended.
- Shape mixture into large ball; roll in toasted almonds. Cover and refrigerate.
- Let stand at room temperature ½ hour before serving.
- Serve with assorted crackers.
Recipe Notes
The lovely flavor of this cheese ball is predominately sweet. Good for dessert cheese course.
