Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour 
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 1/2  teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2  teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 1/2  teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1 (15-ounce) can pure pumpkin puree
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped

Directions

Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour three loaf pans.

In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients with electric mixer. Divide batter evenly between three loaf pans. Bake 1 hour. Remove from oven when a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
