Ingredients
- 3 cups sweet potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed (prepared like regular mashed potatoes)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Topping
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 stick butter, softened
Directions
Heat oven to 350.
In a large bowl, stir together all casserole ingredients, and place in a casserole dish. In a separate medium bowl, combine all topping ingredients. Evenly spread topping on sweet potato mixture, and bake for about 45 minutes.
