“Our core values are at the heart of our operation and mindset at AECC and AECI,” Human Resources Projects Manager Halea Anthony said. “Our seventh Core Value is the Seven Cooperative Principles, which includes Concern for Community. In support of our commitment to the community, employees were given the chance to donate monetarily to The CALL, supporting children and youth in foster care.”

The CALL extends its care to over 8,000 children and youth who enter foster care

each year in Arkansas. These kids often arrive at their foster families’ homes with very little, sometimes just a sack containing a few belongings. Every Christmas, The CALL plays a heartwarming role in ensuring these children receive presents. Most of their requests are basic, such as clothing and toys.

In 2023, AECC/AECI and its employees donated more than $90,000 to worthwhile causes, including The CALL, the Arkansas Heart Association Heart Walk, the Summer Cereal Drive for the Arkansas Foodbank and tornado relief.
