Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Attorney General Tim Griffin visited the Harry L. Oswald Generating Station in Wrightsville on February 16 to announce that Arkansas will legally challenge the rejection by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of the Arkansas’ 2015 Ozone Air Quality Standards Implementation Plan.

Oswald is a 54-megawatt natural gas generation facility owned by Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (AECC). The Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas support the decision to challenge the ruling.
