An Arkansas lineworker won a national photo contest. Rural Electric (RE) Magazine, the flagship publication of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), hosts a monthly photo contest.

Landen Burns, a lineworker at C&L Electric Cooperative in Star City, won November’s contest, which had nearly 300 entries and more than 5,500 votes cast.

Burns’ winning entry shows his son, Paul Ander, dressed up as a lineworker for Halloween and riding in a “bucket truck” — just like his dad.

The image will appear on the 2023 NRECA Member Decal and will be displayed on co-op offices and vehicles across the country.
