Ingredients
Meatloaf
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 4-8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 6 ounces chili sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup crushed crackers (I use Club) or breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
Topping
- Brown sugar to taste (optional)
- 1 bottle barbecue sauce
Directions
Heat oven to 425.
For meatloaf: In a large bowl, mix all meatloaf ingredients together until well-combined. Add mixture to 8 mini loaf pans or 2 regular loaf pans (or form into loaves on a baking sheet). Using thumb, make a dent/ well in middle of each loaf.
For topping: Add brown sugar to barbecue sauce if desired. Fill dents/wells with barbecue sauce, and brush desired amount on loaves.
Bake mini loaves for about 30 minutes, then broil for a few minutes. Larger loaves can take considerably longer; check for doneness, and broil for a few minutes.
