- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1 3/4 cups quick oats
- Honey, chopped nuts (optional)
- Heat oven to 350.
- Add bananas to a medium bowl; fold in chocolate chips, applesauce and oats until combined.
- Drop by tablespoonful onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
- If desired, roll cookies in honey and chopped nuts
