• 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1 3/4 cups quick oats
  • Honey, chopped nuts (optional)


  • Heat oven to 350.
  • Add bananas to a medium bowl; fold in chocolate chips, applesauce and oats until combined.
  • Drop by tablespoonful onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
  • If desired, roll cookies in honey and chopped nuts
